Tailwise (“we”, “us”) operates the Tailwise mobile and web application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Opt-in push notifications (messages, bookings, lost-dog activity, reminders). Manage in-app or in device settings (Android 13+ permission applies).
Uploads are sent over encrypted connections and stored on our cloud infrastructure for display and service operation.
Payments are processed by app stores (Google Play / Apple) or payment providers. We receive status needed to unlock features, not your full card number.
We do not sell personal data. We may share with: other users (as needed for visible content and bookings); hosting, database, storage, email processors; Google (Firebase, maps as configured); authorities if required by law.
TLS in transit; access controls. We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal/tax/disputes. Backups may persist briefly after deletion.
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection where applicable. Contact privacy@pawfect.website. You may complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk

Not directed at under-18s. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.

Declare honestly in Play Console, typically including: location (approx + precise), personal info, photos/videos, messages, app activity/diagnostics as applicable; encryption in transit; account deletion process.
